Sometimes they go so deep into a story they lose track of where the story ends and where their private life begins. In OFF THE RECORD, journalists tell personal stories about the crazy s#@t that happens to them on—and off—the job. We want to pull back the curtain on the strange humans who do this kind of work—because they are, after all, humans. They make silly mistakes, they risk their lives, they have private feelings and fears, they crack under pressure. It’ll be interesting to see what we find back there in the dark.
